Unfortunately, if your newly captured Sector has borders with another Sector that has an enemy base, there is an inminent risk that you will receive a "Sector under siege" notification, which warns you that you are under attack. When you have captured any new Sector, all surrounding Sectors will be revealed and available to explore. Other Sectors can only be captured by destroying all enemy Cores that are located around the area. The list of enemies relies heavily on the "Threat" of said Sector. Some sectors are captured only after successfully defending against a determined wave lenght, with each wave producing more tankier and dangerous units. Once you have entered a Sector, you will be able to see the whole area without any fog-of-war present. When entering a Sector, you can choose from any Core that you have previously unlocked and researched, as long as you have chosen a previous captured Sector that has the corresponding Resources for it. Attacking and defense relies mostly on advanced turrets, while having Unit Production as an alternative (although they are weaker than their enemy counterparts).īasic resource extraction can be done without the presence of Power or processing materials for more advanced ones. Solid resources (such as metals) are transported to your bases via Conveyor Belts, while liquids are transported via Conduits. Each Core has its own version of the Drone and number of Drills available. It is also currently the largest world in the game, since it has the most sectors available.Ĭore drones are able to shoot enemy units or buildings, and all Cores start with a basic set of Drills working on Copper patches. This world focuses on a more classic look on resource extraction and production, since most resouces are mainly extraced with Drills, as they are located in many sectors around this world.
